Intravitreal Pegaptanib Sodium Treatment in the Type 2a Idiopathic Juxtafoveolar Telangiectasis

The dilated fundus examination demonstrated subretinal fluid in the right eye. The Idiopathic Juxtafoveolar Retinal Telangiectasis type 2A was diagnosed based on the optical coherence tomography and the fluorescein angiography. The patient was intravitreally treated using pegaptanib. One year later, the subretinal fluid was not seen on OCT in the right eye.
