Dr. In the current case, we aim to discuss the clinical features of the optic disc drusen (ODD) which is one of the common cause of pseudopapilledema since it leads to blurring of the optic disc margins. In a routine examination of an 8 years old girl, we observed that the optic discs were elevated and blurred bilaterally; also the retinal vessels were dilated and tortuous. The fundus appearance was found similar with the papilledema. Minimal autofluorescense was observed with the red-free filter, there was no leakage of the disc on the FFA and the findings of orbital ultrasonography were well-matched with the bilateral ODD. The patient was evaluated as a buried ODD and was taken under follow-up for development of possible complications. Optik disk drusen is an important clinical entity that sometimes misdiagnosed as papilledema because of elevated and blurred disc margins. Optik disk drusen has a tendency to be buried in the children as it is in our case and it may become visible over time. B-scan ultrasonography is a useful and reliable method for the cases with the burried ODD. Remembering ODD at the diagnosis of the patients with the blurred disc margins, may avoid the unnecessary application of many tests. It should not be forgotten that the patient must be followed up for possible complications. Keywords : Optic disc drusen, pseudopapilledema
