Acquired or inherited thrombophilia may play a role in the etiology of retinal venous occlusion, especially in repetitive cases and young adults. In this case report, recurrent retinal venous occlusion due to multiple inherited thrombophilia is presented. Examination for the presence of thrombophilic risk factors among retinal venous occlusion patients with or without systemic risk factors is important because of the possibility of early administration of antithrombotic therapy and avoiding recurrent retinal vascular occlusion.
