The Clinical and Imaging Findings in a Patient with Solar Retinopathy

3M.D. Associate Professor, Beyoglu Training and Research Eye Hospital, Istanbul/TURKEY The clinical and imaging finding of a patient with the complaint of positive scotoma after sun gazing a year ago for 15 minutes was assessed in this case report. The visual acuity was 1.0 in both eyes. Anterior segment examination was within normal limits in both eyes. Fundus examination revealed red spot mimicking macular hole and optical coherence tomography showed damage in the outer retinal layers in both eyes.
