Coexistence of Foveoschisis and Cystoid Macular Edema in A Case with Gyrate Atrophy

4M.D. Professor, GATA Haydarpasa Military Hospital, Eye Clinic, Istanbul/TURKEY This report presents, foveaschisis, cystoid macular edema and progression of retinal changes within six years, in a preliminary gyrat atrophy diagnosed 20-year-old girl consulting for a progressive fall of visual acuity and night blindness. Clinical findings of foveaschisis and cystoid macular edema that is accompanying chorioretinal atrophy were evaluated both morphologically by using fundus autofluorescence imaging, infrared imaging, fluorescein angiography and optical coherence tomography and functionally by using microperimetry, full-field and multifocal electroretinography.
