Adult Onset Foveomacular Vitelliform Dystrophy: A Case Report

3M.D. Professor, Ondokuzmayıs University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology, Samsun/TURKEY 52 years female patient came to our clinic complaints with blurred vision and vision loss for the last few months. Visual acuity was detected 0.4 and 0.1 snellen scale at her right and left eye respectively. Slitlamp evaluation revealed normal anterior segments. Fundoscopic examination showed spotted atrophic areas and beaten egg-like appearance at the lower border of the round sharp macular lesion. Hyporeflective area was detected under the neurosensorial retina at RPE level with OCT in both eyes. With these clinical findings patient was diagnosed as adult onset vitelliform dystrophy.
