²Dr., Eskişehir Özel Ümit Hastanesi Epiretinal membranes are frequent especially over 60 years of age and forms an important part of vitreoretinal surgical procedures. Despite this frequency there may be diff erences in the management. Among these diff erences; the timing of the surgery, the most suitable ?gauge?, the necessity of using dyes or peeling of internal limiting membrane, and combined phaco vitrectomy or surgeries in separate sequences in phakic eyes, may be included.
