It typically causes ?palpable purpura? of the skin and involvement of mucous membranes, lungs, brain, heart, gastrointestinal tract, and kidney and muscle. Polymorphonuclear leukocyte cell infi ltration in the walls of the blood vessels of the skin and other affected organs as determined by biopsy is one of the histopathologic fi ndings. Ocular involvement is rare. We present a leucocytoclastic vasculitis case with bilateral optic disc edema and right inferior temporal branch retinal vein occlusion.
