3SSK Okmeydanı Hast. Göz Kliniği Neovascular glaucoma is almost always seen after the ischemic retinal disorders. Retinal ischemia might cause neovascularization of retina and optic disc. For this reasons, the relationships between neovascular glaucoma and retinal neovascularisations else were (NVE) and neovascularisation on the disc (NVD) are important for early diagnosis and treatment. In the patients with diabetic retinopathy and branch vein occlusion who were followed at our clinic for five years, we found a significant relationship between NVG and NVD. But there were not a significant relationship between NVG and NVD and/or NVE in the patients with central vein occlusion.
