At the fundus examination on the left eye a 3 mm intravitreal metalic foreign body was determined. His left eye underwent pars plana vitrectomy and extraction of the intraocular foreign body. At the end of first postoperative month, his left visual acuity was 0.8 and a giant tear was determined in this eye.
