Peripapillary Choroidal Neovascular Membrane Associated with Optic Disc Edema

3Gazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, Göz Hastalıkları A.D., Ankara, Prof. Dr. Peripapillary choroidal neovascular membrane (CNVM) may be idiopathic or secondary to various conditions such as ocular histoplasmosis syndrome, myopia, optic disc drusen, trauma, chorioretinitis, uveitis, age-related macular degeneration, optic pits, angioid streaks, serpiginous choroidopathy, optic disc coloboma, peripapillary choroidal melanoma, peripapillary choroidal nevus and tilted disc. Optic disc edema is a rare cause of CNVM. In this article, we report a 31 year-old-woman with peripapillary choroidal neovascular membrane associated with optic disc edema.
