Dr. Exudative retinal detachment is one of the common findings of nanophthalmos. Thickened and abnormal sclera causes funduscopic findings of the nanophthalmos. Different treatment modalities were described for exudative retinal detachment which was refractory to medical therapy and to conventional retinal reattachment procedures. Here we report visual and anatomical outcomes after four quadrant deep sclerectomy surgery for the treatment of exudative retinal detachment secondary to nanophthalmos in two patients.
