The retinal periphery is the site of pathology in several vision-
threatening retinal diseases. Visualization of the peripheral
retina using wide-fi eld angiography improves diagnosis,
monitor and evaluate response to the treatment of these conditions.
Traditional fundus cameras have off ered a 30- to 50-degree
fi eld of view. Recent technology has advanced to provide
up to a 200-degree fi eld of view. Wide fi eld angiography aff ord
us the ability to angiographically examine the parts of the retina
previously not photographable. This review includes the
role of wide fi eld angiography in the diagnosis and the management
of several retinal disease (diabetic retinopathy, retinal
vein occlusion, hematologic disorders, uveitis, age related
macular degeneration, myopia and pediatric retinal disease)
