The usage of intraocular gases, liquid perfluorocarbon and silicone oil in the vitreoretinal surgery complicated a proliferative vitreoretinopathy has been increased in recent years. Media opacification in the patients with intraocular tamponade makes the evalution of retina diffucult. Ultrasonography and computed tomography help us for the determination of the tamponade substances. Besidesthe characteristic of the tamponade substances and the statues of the posterior segment can be determined by giving head positional this study ultrasonography and computed tomography of the patients having intraocular tamponade substance were taken and the characteristic of the intraocular tamponade substance were analysed.
